Last week in gifted we watched a Mystery Science that was teaching us about alchemists and chemical reactions. The following was a lesson that when some chemical reactions were included. Two of the reactions were resulted in slime. When we were done we made our own batch of slime. The slime wasn't as gooey as my other slimes but I still had fun. I hope we do more fun things like this later on in the year!
Last week we went in groups and my group which consisted of Catherine, Jadyn, Nate and me. We figured out how to record our voices and play them on recon®
We made some goo in Gifted today. It was fun because I had never made goo before. Here are the steps to making goo. First you are going to fill a bag full of glue. Next your going to pour some borax in the glue. Than your going to fill your bag with warm water than you are going to shake it for 2 minutes!!! This what we did in Gifted.
Last week in Mrs. Salters class we created slime!!! We watched a Mystery Science and the project following the video was a lesson that tied in with chemical reactions and it gave us an experience as if we were alchemists!!! We came up with three chemical reactions. One of them was vinegar and milk and the milk separated from the vinegar and its result was a liquid with little specs of milk. Then the next
Last week we were alchemists and combined different materials to make gold!!!!!!! Just kidding but we were alchemists though. Anyway, we combined different materials and they were, borax, glue, vinegar and milk and at the end we made a giant bag of slime using borax, water and glue. It was fun. yyyyyyyyyaaaayyyyyy!!!!!
A couple days ago we had all watched a mystery science about how acid was related to fireworks. Somehow that got us to an experiment where we mixed a whole bunch of stuff together. Of course since Mrs.Salter gives us whatever we want, we got to make mystery goo. At first it got kinda messy 'cause Mrs.Salter let us pour our glue, and it got everywhere. I'm not sure it was everyone that made a mess. Probably just me. At the end we all got to take our goo home and whenever I showed anyone in fifth grade I ended up loosing a piece. Which was fine because by the time I got home there was none left because everyone got some.

Last week in gifted we mixed certain things to make goo. Our main goal was to make goo but only a small amount of goo the first time because we only had tiny drops of the chemicals. The chemicals we had were borax, glue, baking soda, vinegar, and milk. The way we made goo was with borax and glue. At the end of the day Mrs. Salter let us make a whole bag of goo! To make it we used warm water, glue, and water. It was hard to make the goo but we did it.
