The first thing we did is select our paper. Then we tore it into small pieces and put in a pile. Next, we put it in a blender and made a pulp, but we stopped it about half of the way through and added some more paper. Then, we poured it on a screen and dipped it in water and set it on felt to dry. Last of all, we put in under a stack of books. Charles M. Gibbons
In Mrs. Salter's class we made homemade paper. We were talking about reuse, reduce, and recycle. And then Mrs.Salter said that we were going to make homemade paper. We got some paper that was in the paper pile and we shredded it. After we were done shredding, we waited until it was our turn. When it was our turn we put our pieces of paper into the blender. When Mrs. Salter turned the blender off she poured our now chunky pieces of paper onto a piece of frame that is inside a picture frame. Then she put it on felt. After that she laid it on a chair. She said that by next Tuesday when we come back to her classroom, the paper will be ready to write on. My name is Jadyn Delph and I loved this project!
First, we picked up a lot of trash from the floor. We put our trash into some bags. Then we weighed it grams. We added all of the totals into just one total. Then we multiplied it by .0022 so that is how we got the total in pounds. We got 7 pounds out of just a single room. Then we sorted all of the trash into three groups. We got some paper then we shredded the paper. Our teacher told us we were going to make paper. We put the paper in a blender with water. In a week we will be able to right on it.So we will make a present for our parents. Hi I am Diego I think I will make paper at my house a lot. |
